The Pot Pie Method of Coping With Economic Uncertainty

I bet you're wondering what do Pot Pies have to do with economic uncertainty? Well, truthfully, if you follow the Pot Pie Method, economic uncertainty will basically be non-existent in your reality!

Huh?

While I realize that a lot of people are uncertain as to their economic futures, i.e., will they have a job, or will they get a job, I'm here to share with you today, that you can take back the power of your own future and create a future to your liking, economic uncertainties notwithstanding!

Jennifer Ledbetter, better known in Internet Affiliate Marketing circles as the Pot Pie Girl first announced to her husband in February of 2007 that she was going to make money online! So naively, she jumped online and out the gate started with creating a web-site.

She had no clue about how to make money on the internet, much less how to make a website. She remembers seeing a strange look on her husband's face as she stared at the blank screen, proclaiming her internet prowess to be!

Jennifer must have German heritage -- I'll have to ask her that when I get a chance. My husband is half German and he makes notes of everything. And that's what Jennifer did. She took copious notes of all her endeavors online.

Side Note: I started online the exact same time that Jennifer did, but I didn't take notes. Yes, I made money online, but nothing like she did. And because I didn't take notes, I couldn't repeat what I did that made that money. [And me an honest-to-goodness writer and all with volumes and volumes of journals, shame, shame!]

She Was Close To Throwing in the Towel!
Jennifer was really close to joining that 95% of people who try to make money online, but give up. In her own words:

"I was this close to joining the 95% Club - you know, the 95% of Internet markets who enter and leave the business without ever turning a dime of profit . . .

"I had mountains of Post-it notes surrounding my computer, threatening to overtake my small, cramped workspace. On each one, the results of my trial-and-error attempts to make money online.

"I just couldn't let it get the best of me - I grit my teeth and pushed on, vowing never to let my attempt at online success get the best of me.

"And then it happened . . .

"One of my campaigns started to make sales! I was absolutely shocked - I couldn't believe I'd made my first few dollars online."

• Need to warehouse or ship inventory
• Need to cold call or meet sales quotas
• Need a set schedule
• A Boss!

"I've been online since February of 2007, and like Jennifer, Pot Pie Girl,  I started out by making a website. Then I tried creating Adsense Ads (oh, the naivete!) and though I made money, I spent more money on the advertisements.

A Need To Focus on One Marketing Discipline
